Walmart already offers everyday low prices, so they do not have a rewards program in which you earn points for how much you spend. Walmart rewards customers in a different way. They offer a program called Savings Catcher.
Basically is a local competitor offers a lower advertised price on eligible merchandise that you had already purchased at Walmart, then they will give you the difference back of a Walmart gift card. Walmart has an app that will allow you to scan your receipt and it will tell you if there are any stores that have a lower price. If there are, then you will automatically receive the savings difference on an egiftcard stored in the app. You have the freedom to use the gift card however you like in the store or online. Most stores call this a price-match program.
