Cabelas stores sell a variety of hunting, shooting, fishing, camping, boating, and related outdoor recreation merchandise.  The company was founded by Richard N Cabela in 1961 after we successfully started selling fishing gear in local newspapers.  In 2016 Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabelas for $5.5 billon.
