In 2015 all of the Anna’s Linens locations went out of business after filling for bankruptcy. The last Anna’s Linens weekly ad was published was on July 14, 2015. This is also the date that all Annas Linens stores closed forever. I’m sad to see another major store chain go out of business.
The Last Annas Linens Weekly Ad
Their weekly ads used to contain the promotions and deals of the week. The ads would occasionally be published in the Sunday newspaper as well as on their website. Since they have closed below you will see their last ad which is about their going out of business sale.
Annas Linens Store Closing
The company was founded by Alan Gladstone in 1987 and was names after his month. They were headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. The store carried discounted household merchandise such as towels, blankets, curtains, and tablecloths. Their consumer rewards program was known as a “Fan of Anna’s.” Some of their competitors have included Bed Bath & Beyond, department stores, and Target.
The corporation filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2015 due to owning 100 million dollars to creditors. At the time of their closing in 2015, there were more than 250 Annas Linens stores across the nation.
